So.... did '08 arrive as quietly for everyone else also? Or is it just because I missed all the "year in review" shows this year? Or because I had to work new years eve and day?
Anyways. '07 is gone! Good riddance! It had some good stuff though.
Best of '07 for the swede?
Things that blew my mind:
- Radiohead's In rainbows and all other Radiohead goodies
- the Coens' No country for old men
- the ultimate collectors edition of Blade runner
- The Shins' Wincing the night away
- Arcade fire's Neon bible
- Liars' s/t
The one thing that blew my mind, body, and soul (in a good way): Violet.
Honorable mentions:
- Silly comedies: Superbad and Knocked up
- Zodiac
- New season of Curb your enthusiasm
- Tim & Eric
- The Lookout
Things I felt let down by:
- The Transformers movie, Number 23, Mr Brooks, 300 and Smokin' Aces (Yes! I expected entertainment!)
- I am Legend (Raped the original story and CGI zombies)
- Eastern Promises (I really thought I'd like it)
My new years resolution: Cut back on pet peeves. I've got too many really retarded ones.

~Blew my mind - going back to school and making A's and having a computer/internet connection at home now
~Honorable mention - anything written by Joss Whedon and becoming a comic book geek
~Let down by - how much I am starting to hate my job and how the people in our building love to bath in perfume before they come to work so that EVERYone within a mile knows they go to Bath and Body Works
anyway... glad to see a blog. I didn't know where it was. Now you can get all the Dune and Moo your heart desires... and that is surely a lot!
How about some good ole Dirt! Can't get ENOUGH of that Dirt!
Hey Hey! Hallo!!
Well... regarding Joss Whedon. Are you serious? Not doing any kind of attack or slander, just didn't know you liked his stuff. What are we talking about here? Buffy? Angel? Alien resurrection?
Yes, I did mean BTVS, Angel, Firefly, and some things in the comic book world.
BTVS movie was written by him, but totally changed when it came to the screen to the point where he left the set and never went back. As for the series, you don't really get his true writing abilities until deep into season 1 and beyond (although he thought way down the line even in the beginning, which is why I like it so much). He tends to make stuff unpredictable to the horror genre and the title was a joke that satarized it.
Anyway, much respeC --- BOOya Kasha!
